iKey Launches New Line of Ruggedized, Industrial Displays
iKey is proud to introduce its new line of ruggedized industrial flat panel displays. The new IK line features three models that are available with 15", 17" or 19" resistive touchscreens. In addition, each model is built to NEMA 4X specifications to be resistant to dirt, dust, debris and liquids.

CASE STUDY: iKey Designs Customized, Wearable Keyboard for SpecOps Systems, Inc.
SpecOps Systems, Inc. designs ruggedized, miniaturized, waterproof, wearable computers which provide enhanced situational awareness of the battle space or working arena. The company contacted iKey after a military customer requested that their WC2 wearable computer feature an integrated keyboard with text-mode keys, a pointing device and LED backlighting that fit well within the WC2 design. Several models of the WC2 wearable computer with the KYB-170-OEM are now undergiong field tests in locations throughout the world. Click here for the complete case study.

Intrinsically Safe, Wireless Keyboards Cost Up To 35% Less Than Wired Models
iKey's BT-87-TP-IS and DW-5K-IS keyboards are wireless, intrinsically safe, and can save you up to 35% versus wired models. These keyboards have been Factory Mutual approved for Class I, II, and III, Division I, Groups C, D, E, F and G. They have a 30-foot RF range and work with systems in enclosures. These wireless models completely eliminate the cable, the bulkhead connectors and the barriers that are normally required for intrinsically safe keyboard products.

Clover Electronics, iKey's distributor in the Netherlands, was contacted by authorities at the Dutch Flower Market in May 2007 with a need for a rugged, compact keyboard solution. iKey's DP-860 keyboards were a perfect match. Over a year later, the keyboards continue to withstand the imminent spillage of food and beverages by traders in the packed flower auction houses.

Newsletter: Case Study: iKey and ITS Sweeten the Job at Nestlé
iKey teamed up with ITS Enclosures to produce HR kiosks for multinational packaged foods company Nestlé. After 18 months of heavy use by employees, the kiosks and keyboards are in great shape, and Nestlé's HR team is making more efficient use of its time.
The project has been an all-around success.
