Job Summary

iKey, the leader in rugged keyboards, monitors and accessories is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Inside Sales Manager.

iKey is an Austin based, international tech company with a 32-year record of success. Credited with creating the rugged peripheral market, the Inside Sales Manager works from a foundation of positive brand awareness, differentiated product line and average customer lifetime of 20+ years.

You will be the liaison between iKey and current/potential customers with a customer first mindset. You are accountable for effectively solving customer issues and inquiries while informing customers of new products. You upsell at every opportunity, write quotes and close deals.

iKey offers our Inside Sales Managers the opportunity to earn their salary at a high-level with an uncapped commission.

Responsibility

  • The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial attitude, the ability to multi-task in a changing environment, strong communication skills and cross-functional work ethic.
  • Drive solution selling by identifying customer needs, gathering information and requirements.
  • Manage a high daily volume of inbound and outbound calls, quoting and turning quotes into sales.
  • Identify new prospects via cold calling and online research.
  • Build sustainable relationships, engage prospects with a ‘customer first’ mindset.
  • Accountable as the primary contact for a dedicated geographic US customer list and performing various inside sales activities such as calls, customer service, etc.
  • Recording sales activities via our CRM system.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in a dedicated customer service and/or sales focused environment
  • Friendly, collaborative and a desire to learn
  • Expertise in Salesforce CRM and best practices
  • Proven track record of success in closing quotes and large deals.
  • Track record of performing to or exceeding quotas
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Customer first attitude with ability to manage different personality types
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Minimum of four years inside sales experience, manufacturing experience preferred.
