Job Summary

iKey, Ltd. is the world’s largest and leading manufacturer of rugged industrial keyboards and peripherals. iKey created the rugged keyboard and computer peripheral industry and has been successful and profitable for over 30 years. We have always been in Austin, Texas-where we assemble our products. iKey sells its products in over 40 countries. We are a small company which sells throughout the world and still has a family atmosphere. We are seeking inside salespeople who are comfortable talking on the telephone, working with existing and new customers, and helping to increase our sales. Applicants must have excellent sales skills, work ethic, time management, attention to detail, and must enjoy working with our team and customers. College degree or 1 to 2 years call center experience is required.

Naturally, this is a full time position with benefits, including medical, matching 401-k, paid time off, and others. There will be discretionary quarterly bonuses available to those who exceed expectations

Qualifications and Skills

  • No less than (2) years of sales or call center experience, preferably selling a product or working for a manufacturer
  • Demonstrated ability to meet a quota and make significant number of cold calls.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with ERP software. Salesforce experience helpful.
  • Experience working closely with Operations and Sales.
  • Not interested in applicants who have jumped from job to job.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails;
  • Understand and immediately respond to customer needs and requirements;
  • Build strong relationships with partners, channels, and customers’
  • Assist existing and new customers with determining what product they need and reply to requests for quote and info;
  • Work with existing customers to solve and resolve challenges;
  • Record all activity in detailed manner in Salesforce;
  • Route qualified opportunities to others if appropriate, for further development and closure;
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas;
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest;
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects;
  • Team with channel and industry partners to build pipeline and close deals;
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects;
  • Provide customer quotas, ROI, proposals and product information based on their business needs

Salary: Salary will be $40,000-$45,000 base (depending upon qualifications and experience)
